Survivor Classic Car Services of Chicago is proud to present this
1988 Harley Davidson FLHT Electra Glide Classic! This Electra Glide
is believed to be a one of one prototype for the Anniversary
package. 1988 saw the 85th anniversary of the Harley Davidson
brand. As with many other anniversaries, a custom livery was
created to celebrate the milestone. The deep black and shimmering
gold paints are split by a thin red pinstripe. Anniversary
package-specific bikes were adorned with decals commemorating the
long-running motorcycle brand.
Between the riders legs is an 80.5 cubic inch "Evo" big-twin
2-cylinder engine and 5-speed manually shifted transmission. Power
is sent tot he rear wheel and this fully-dressed 2-wheel cruiser
rolls down the road as easy as the wind blows across an open field.
The seats both are plush as a recliner and making riding for hours
on end a delight. The full size windshield will keep the bugs out
of your teeth and the headlight and auxiliary lights will keep the
open road lit through all hours of the night.
With the Harley comes a full OEM replacement set of decals, a
repair manual, and the pride of owning a piece of Harley Davidson
history.
