THIS IS A 1972 COUGAR CONVERTIBLE...PROJECT CAR...IT RUNS DRIVES
AND STOPS...THE BODY IS DECENT, BUT NOT PERFECT....PAINT IS FADED
YELLOW...THE WRONG COLOR. THE BRIGHT WORK IS FAIR. IT HAS A SET OF
15 INCH AMERICAN MAG WHEELS MOUNTED ON FAIRLY NEW BF GOODRICH
TIRES. THE POWER CONVERTIBLE TOP IS IN POOR CONDITION...NEEDS
REPLACED....THE POWER RUNS FOR THE TOP...BUT NEEDS SOME
ATTENTION...IT WILL NOT RAISE OR LOWER THE TOP. THE BLACK VINYL
INTERIOR IS INTACT......STILL PRESENTABLE WITH MINOR RIPS IN THE
SEAT. DOOR PANELS ARE OK...BUT HAVE SPEAKERS MOUNTED IN THEM....A
PIONEER RADIO AM-FM DOES NOT COME ON...PROBABLY A WIRING ISSUE. THE
351 MOTOR UNDER THE HOOD RUNS WELL...POWER STEERING AND BRAKES
WORK...TRUNK HAS THE CORRECT MAT ...TRUNK WAS
PATCHED.....OVERALL....THERE WERE ONLY A TOTAL OF 3169 COUGAR
CONVERTIBLES PRODUCED IN 1972 ...SO IT IS A PRETTY RARE CAR...I
BELIEVE IT IS A GOOD CAR TO RESTORE.....
