1959 Ford Galaxy Skyliner retractable hardtop. Originally from San
Jose California. 332 cubic inch V8 engine paired with a
Cruis-O-Matic automatic transmission, power steering, and a
distinctive two-tone paint job in colonial white and torch red.
Abundant chrome and bright work, including polished fender skirts
and dual exhaust. The interior is a tri-color scheme of charcoal,
white, and red, with original looking dashboard and seats, the
seats still covered in what appears to be vintage protective
plastic. Riding on steel wheels with Ford wheel covers and wide
whitewall tires. Minor imperfections such as paint blemishes and
some pitting on the chrome, but a nice shine. An aluminum radiator
has been installed, the heater core is bypassed, some brake
pulsation is noted. The convertible hardtop mechanism operates
smoothly. On the road at lower speeds the car handles and drives
well, there is a stutter on tip in acceleration and some under the
car noise. The radio works and the car runs nicely.
