Judged as one of the best in existence! Only 116 miles since concours level body off frame restoration. It's been stored in a trailer, inside a climate controlled building. 100% #s matching and Pontiac Historical documented.

EXTERIOR: Gorgeous in its original Barrier Blue color highlighted with red accents. Okay, the paint looks better than it did brand new! It has such a polished finish it looks like you could reach your arm right into it. The pinstripe is correctly painted on. Every piece of chrome has been redone and every piece of stainless is polished. It has the correct antenna. The grilles are restored and proudly displays a few of its awards. Those are reproduction T3 headlamps too. The jambs are painted as slick as the car and all of the weatherstrips and seals were replaced. It even has all new glass with the correct markings. It rolls on reproduction redline tires and restored rally 1 wheels. The red brake drums were only in 1966 and with rally 1 wheels; it's a nice detail along with the red in the emblems.

INTERIOR: Wow, it is immaculate from carpet to headliner! Everything is redone including the wiring, everything works. Every piece of interior chrome was replaced or restored. Down on the floor it has fresh blue carpet, reproduction mats and a restored set of deluxe seat belts. The best part is the Hurst 4-speed sticking out of the floor with an optional walnut knob. The seats have been taken apart, rebuilt, recushioned and reupholstered. The door panels, armrests and handles have all been replaced. The dash area is completely restored and features factory rally gauges. The original radio was upgraded with modern internals and plays FM stereo. This GTO was born with the radio reverb which it still has but it's not hooked up to the converted radio. The deluxe steering wheel is looking good too. Overhead the headliner and visors are pristine. As part of the lamp group it has rare map lights as part of the dome lights.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This is a highly detailed engine compartment restored to factory specs just like the day it was born. It has its original motor and all the components are correct. The motor has been completely rebuilt to stock specs. Correct manifolds, carburetor, rechromed valve covers and air cleaner, even alternator and distributor are correct. The spark plug wires are even date coded! The cooling system was restored with correct radiator, shroud, fan hoses and clamps. It has a Delco battery topper with spring clamp cables. The squirters are hooked up, it has a hood insulation pad, horns and under hood light work. All the metal surfaces are painted meticulously.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is literally pristine in here, under the trunk lid and the jamb are painted as nice as the car. It has reproduction sticker, weatherstrip and two-piece trunk mat. The trunk light works and it has all new wiring. The latch assembly is restored. Inside is pristine metal with a neat spatter finish. It has a fifth matching reproduction red line tire on a restored rally 1 wheel and a restored jack assembly.

UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame and flipped on a rotisserie. The suspension and steering was completely rebuilt and detailed to brand new factory condition, it even has spiral shocks and boxed rear control arms. Factory correct exhaust system with staggered size mufflers. All new correct fuel system, it even has correct stencil on the tank. The brake system was completely rebuilt: lines, hoses and e-brake assembly were replaced. Looking up at the motor it is spotless and has correct starter. The 4-speed Muncie is original to this car and completely restored. The rebuilt driveshaft leads back its original 3.55 Saf-t-track rear end. The floors are pristine metal. It's very detailed under here like it was restored yesterday. The metal surfaces are meticulously painted, it even has assembly line tags in place!
