It has the look! The color, stance, wheels and smoked glass give
this car a sexiness you can't deny. It's more than a pretty face;
it performs amazingly well too with a list of upgrades.
EXTERIOR: This is a striking combination of colors, along with the
wheels and stance it's a head turner! The body is restored very
nicely, it's clean and straight. It has the SS doomed hood; the
antenna and fender emblems have been deleted for a clean look. It's
painted a gorgeous burgundy metallic with a deep clear coat that's
smooth and glossy. The SS stripes down the sides are painted on and
smooth to the touch. The vinyl top, stainless moldings, all the
chrome around the car, the grille, the lenses have all been
replaced. It has T3 reproduction headlamps. All new smoked glass
looks great on this car. It is sitting really proud and a set of
Billet Specialties polished aluminum wheels: 18s in front, 20s in
back that are extra wide. All four are wrapped in performance
sneakers.
INTERIOR: The interior has been redone very nicely and given some
upgrades. Down on the floor it has new carpet, some embroidered
Chevelle mats and all new reproduction seat belts. Upgraded ProCar
reclining sport seats, the back seat is upholstered to match. New
reproduction door panels, armrests and handles. Those window cranks
are actually window switches, with an easy touch the power windows
go up and down! Above me is a new headliner and visors. In front of
me is a new dash pad, instrument panel and it's upgraded with some
red lit Dakota Digital gauges. There's a new Vintage Air electric
slide control panel and a retro stereo in the dash with 6x9
speakers in back. Under the dash are LED interior lights. The tilt
column has a cushion grip steering wheel.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Texas Speed 408 stroker motor is making over
450hp. They started with a strong LQ9 6.0 block then bored and
stroked it. It has aluminum heads, a tin intake, 102 mm throttle
body and stainless steel headers. The intake tube, custom coil pack
covers and intake are painted body color. The front of the engine
has all the modern components with serpentine belt. It runs cool
with the big aluminum radiator, electric fan and a custom overflow
bottle. It features air conditioning, power steering and power
brakes. A Moroso catch can system keeps the compartment clean. The
firewall is smooth firewall and painted body color along with the
rest of the compartment. The billet hinges are a really nice
upgrade, they look and function great!
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and the jamb are painted
slick like the car, the weatherstrip was replaced. The trunk
compartment is painted black and has a carpeted floor. The battery
is relocated to the trunk in a stainless battery box.
UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame during restoration. All the
suspension and steering was rebuilt, upgraded with Hotchkiss
lowering springs, front and rear sway bars and rear boxed control
arms. It has a custom all stainless exhaust with X-Pipe and
Magnaflow polished mufflers. The new fuel system is compatible with
the fuel injected motor. The brake system was completely replaced
and upgraded with disc at all four corners and has a working
e-brake cable. Looking up at the motor it has an extra capacity oil
pan. There's an upgraded TCI 4L80E overdrive automatic transmission
with a custom trans mount. The rebuilt driveshaft goes through a
safety loop before getting to the 12 bolt rear end that has 3.73
posi gears and a B&M aluminum girdle cover. The frame and
chassis components were prepped and painted black. The floors are
clean metal sprayed with undercoat.
SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we
built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and
hired a team of technicians to work it. This is so we can sell you
the best cars within reason.
You won't want to leave this one in the garage, every minute you
are out and about with it is going to be pure pleasure!
For nearly 30 years, I, Jay Grams, have personally written the
highlights for almost every car in our collection. What I provide
is my professional opinion based on my experience with these
vehicles. However, opinions can vary, and I strongly recommend a
personal inspection to form your own view. Our sales team is always
available to answer any questions you may have. One great option is
to request a personalized walk-around video, where we can showcase
the car and share our team's insights.
Our cars are displayed within a museum setting. If you are
interested in a specific vehicle, please schedule an appointment
with a salesperson to view it. Without an appointment, there is an
admission fee to enter the showroom. If you decide to purchase a
car, your admission will be refunded, and you'll receive a one-year
museum membership.
