Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this 1973 Pontiac GTO which is in very nice overall condition with rare factory colors. This is a rare GTO being a 1973 model which had the lowest production numbers with only 4806 made. This GTO has only had two owners from new with the original owner having the car until 2016. This GTO is PHS Documented as an authentic factory GTO in original colors. This GTO features beautiful Brown Metallic paint with GTO decals, a mostly stock super nice saddle interior, The original Pontiac 400 engine, and PHS documents. This GTO is finished in the desirable color combinations of Brown over Saddle interior. This is the factory color scheme as verified on the trim tag pictured above. This GTO is believed to have only 67,245 Actual miles which is documented on the Ohio title showing miles as Actual and several receipts showing the mileage. The original title is included and shows this car being transferred to its second owner in 2016. Several original dealer books and brochures are included.
Exterior
The brown exterior is in great overall condition. This GTO has really nice paint and vinyl top and GTO decals and trim. The paint is in good overall condition and has a nice shine and gloss and is smooth to the touch. There may be some minor imperfections that are not noticeable in the photos, but nothing was intentionally excluded from the photos. The tires have lots of tread left and sized 245/60/15 in the front and 255/60/15 in the rear and the 15" OEM honeycomb wheels are in great shape. All weather stripping and window sweeps are in great condition. The trunk is in stock condition with the spare tire and jack and the speakers still have their original insulation speaker boxes. The underside of this GTO is overall solid condition.
Interior
The saddle interior of this GTO is in terrific mostly stock condition. The seat covers are in great condition with no noticeable wear or fading or seam splits. The carpet appears to be original and is in good overall condition with no major stains, rips, or holes. The original dash is in excellent condition with no warping or fading. The original stereo still works and sounds great and the presets still function. The original door panels are in great condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The headliner is in great condition and not sagging at all. All interior and exterior lights and gauges work as they should. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever, and the ashtray is very clean.
Mechanical
This GTO is in great mechanical condition with its original Pontiac 400 engine. This engine runs very well and the car performs nicely. A newer Flowmaster dual exhaust system was added and gives this GTO a muscle car rumble at idle and cruising speeds. A new correct Q jet Carb. was added. Newer intake manifold and valve cover gaskets. New alternator. A new water pump was added and a new aluminum radiator was added. A new gas tank was added along with a new fuel pump. New front and rear shocks were added. A new starter was added. The rear differential was fully restored with new gears and limited slip added, ratio is 3.23. We have driven this car numerous times and it always performs well, it does not run hot, it rides tight, and is always a joy to drive. This GTO is a great driver that feels great on the road and at highway speeds. There is no smoke when starting or driving the car. It starts right away every time and runs well. The brakes do not pull and stop as they should and were fully serviced with new front calipers pads and hoses and restored rear brakes and new master cylinder. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos. New spark plug wires and spark plugs were added and electronic ignition under cap. The factory AC was working but the condenser went bad and the AC belt was removed. A new AC condenser is included and the AC belt is included.
