325iS for sale in our Mesa, Arizona showroom. The BMW started its
life in California and made its way to Arizona where it spent most
of its life inside of a climate-controlled garage. The 1988 BMW 3
series two door sedan 325iS is a sporty version of the E30
generation BMW 3 series, known if its performance and handling. It
was produced from 1982 to 1994.
The cabin features front sport seats that have been reupholstered
in black vinyl with houndstooth cloth inserts that also carry to
the door panels. The front driver seat also has the M3 logo added.
Additional amenities include an aftermarket Alpine head unit, an
onboard computer, cruise control, and air conditioning. The AC was
converted to R134a. The M Tech I steering wheel frames a 150-mph
speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, fuel
economy, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 149,992
miles.
The BMW is finished in Black (089) and features a front spoiler
with integrated fog lights, a decklid spoiler, tinted windows, and
quad headlights. The vehicle was recently fully buffed and waxed.
The 15" alloy wheels are mounted to Bridgestone Pontenza tires with
DOT 2014 (recommend new tires). Braking is handled by ventilated
front and rear solid discs with ABS. Recent service includes oil
change, filter, and AC serviced.
The 2.5-liter inline-six was factory rated at 168 horsepower and
164 lb.-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a
five-speed manual Getrag 260 transmission and a limited-slip
differential with a 3.73:1 gear ratio. The BMW will come with two
books full of receipts. No accidents or damage were reported to
Carfax.
