Classic Car Addict is proud to present this 1973 Toyota Land
Cruiser FJ40 4x4 for sale in our Mesa, Arizona showroom. The Land
Cruisers was a series made by Toyota from 1960 until 2001. The 40
series featured a traditional body on frame construction and were
built as 2-door models with slightly larger dimensions than the
Jeep CJ.
The cabin houses seats that were fitted with replacement padding
and gray vinyl covers. The rear of the cabin houses refurbished
black inward-facing jump seats with no lap belts. The three spoke
steering wheel frames a 100-MPH speedometer and gauges for oil
pressure, fuel level, temperature, and amps. The five-digit
odometer shows 12,000 miles.
Exterior details include a body-color hardtop finished in red with
a roof finished in white. Additional features include Land Cruiser
badging, dual side mirrors, and a swing-away rear-mounted spare
tire. Steel finished 15" wheels are mounted to Pirelli Scorpion MTR
wheels wearing 31x10.50R15LT, same with the spare. The truck rides
on Bilstein shock absorbers and is equipped with manually locking
front hubs.
The 3.9-liter F inline-six features a single carburetor. Power is
routed to the rear or all four wheels through a three-speed manual
transmission and dual-range transfer case. It features power
assisted drum brakes and a 10-bolt rear end.
