Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 26th year in the
classic and muscle car business. GTO. To Europeans these iconic
letters stand for Gran Turismo Omologato, or grand touring
homologated, meaning a car that has been certified for a class of
competition. Since 1964, Americans have had a slightly different
perspective of these initials; some tire-frying monster that
requires copious amounts of Gas, Tires, and Oil! When Pontiac put
their full-size 389ci V8 into the intermediate-sized Tempest, the
muscle car era had officially begun and, to Americans, GTO
signified ground-pounding muscle machines. This handsome 1969 GTO
Judge tribute is an outstanding example of these iconic American
screamers. Lift the functional Ram Air hood and you'll see
Pontiac's stalwart 400 ci V8, the successor to their 389 V8 that
cemented Pontiac's reputation for outstanding engines. Additional
features include power steering, power front disc brakes, power
top, factory air conditioning, 4-speed manual transmission with
Hurst shifter, console, HD front and rear stabilizer bars,
auxiliary gauges for oil pressure and water temperature, and
classic Redline tires (215/70R15) wrapped around correct Rally II
wheels. This particular example has the optional and highly
desirable hidden headlights, giving the legend an even more
menacing appearance. PHS documentation confirms this is a true 242
GTO with Judge accoutrements added. I also particularly enjoy the
custom license plates pronouncing a guilty verdict. Quite
appropriate! One more killer Pontiac from the Texas Hill Country's
premier source for classic muscle and the team that can make your
dream a reality. Street Dreams (830-997-1950) is a full service
dealership that can assist with worldwide delivery, insurance, and
financing options.
