1968 Fiat Dino 206 Spider. Stunning, newly painted in Azzurro
Metallizzato With 74000 km (approx 46000 miles) This is an
extremely rare 206 Fiat Dino Spyder. This is car number 990 out of
approx 1160 2.0 liter Spyders made. A four cam shaft, 2.0 liter V6
engine fed by 3 2-barrel Weber carburetors powers this
extraordinary roadster. The engine is cast in magnesium for extreme
lightness. The blood lines of this engine originate from Ferrari's
competition department having been designed by Enzo Ferrari's son
Dino with some help from the racing design wizard, Vittorio Jano.
The engine is light, very powerful and delivers power through a
five speed gearbox - making for an exhilarating driving experience
reminiscent of this engines racetrack provenance. This particular
Spyder has benefitted from: - A complete engine out rebuild - A
transmission overhaul with a new clutch installed - Rebuilt
carburetors and headers in stainless steel - Rebuilt brakes - New
shock absorbers - The suspension has been thoroughly gone through -
Convertible top was replaced - New carpets installed - Steering
wheel wood restored - Wood dash refinished - Seats reupholstered -
Bumpers and chrome bright-work have been re-plated - Car stripped
to bare metal and repainted in its original color blue, Azzurro
Metallizzato The Dino comes with picture book documenting it's
