Plymouth automobiles were introduced in 1928 by Chrysler as the
Companies first entry level, low-priced automobile, that was
previously dominated by Chevrolet and Ford. The logo at the time
was the ship Mayflower, which landed at Plymouth Rock. The origins
of Plymouth can be traced back to the Maxwell automobile when
Walter Chrysler took over control of the troubled Maxwell-Chalmers
car company in the early 1920's. This particular cars roots can be
traced back many years as the seller had this car in High School,
later sold it and then purchased the car back and had it
restored....And that was over 30 years ago. This car starts runs,
drives, shifts and brakes as good as it probably gets. The lights
and gauges work, the body is very solid as is the underside. The
interior has been re-done many years ago and is in presentable
shape. This Plymouth does not smoke at idle, and the underside is
free of any leaking issues from what we can tell. We welcome any
third party inspections as well as any questions. This car is
located in our Traverse City location and look forward to talking
to you about it.
