Cruising with style since 1967, this Chevrolet Impala SS
Convertible offers genuine American muscle with drop-top luxury.
Finished in clean Ermine White, the long, flowing lines of the body
extend from the distinctive stacked headlights to the signature
triple taillights. The black canvas top folds neatly away to reveal
the full beauty of this classic cruiser. Each detail adds to its
distinctive look - from the custom engraved door handles to the
chrome-plated Zenith knock-off wire wheels with intricate engraved
spinners. The glass rear window maintains visibility with the top
up, while the 155/80/13 Remington white walls complete the
authentic look without trying too hard.
Inside, the black vinyl and cloth interior mixes factory
correctness with carefully chosen upgrades. The bucket seats
provide good support during spirited driving and match perfectly
with the door panels. A factory center console houses the floor
shifter, putting gear selection within easy reach. Digital gauges
have replaced the factory units, giving accurate readings in a
clean, uncluttered format. Music comes through an AM/FM/AUX stereo
with flip-up screen, playing through strategically placed speakers
including subwoofers tucked away in the fully finished trunk. The
aftermarket steering wheel gives a custom touch without going
overboard.
Mechanical magic starts with the 350 cubic inch V8 connected to a
700R4 four-speed automatic transmission. A Demon four-barrel
carburetor sits on an Edelbrock Performer EPS intake manifold,
feeding the engine exactly what it needs across the RPM range. The
chassis handles well thanks to sway bars at both ends, while
stopping comes from power disc brakes with drilled and slotted
front rotors, managed by a CPP master cylinder and proportioning
valve. When you step on the gas, the dual exhaust with
glasspack-style mufflers lets everyone know you've got some muscle
under the hood without being too loud or obnoxious.
