Vehicle Description
1969 CHEVROLET CAMARO SS 396 4-SPEED, HUGGER ORANGE This 1969
Camaro really looks great in Hugger Orange, code 72. The base
coat/clear coat has been color sanded to perfection. The finish is
very smooth and glossy. All of the chrome, trim, emblems and door
handles have been replaced with new. This beautiful Camaro also has
all new weather stripping and door seals. All the glass is very
nice. It rides on a set of factory 15" steel wheels with poverty
caps that are wrapped in a set of Firestone Wide Oval tires for
that nostalgic look it deserves. The engine compartment is nicely
detailed with a very strong running 427 cubic inch Big Block engine
casting number 3963512. It has been nicely upgraded with an
aluminum intake and dual feed carburetor with correct dual feed
fuel line, factory chrome valve covers, correct Cowl Induction air
cleaner, upgraded HEI ignition, 4-core aluminum radiator, new
cadmium plated brake booster with new master cylinder, correct
portioning valve, original spring style battery cables and tower
clamps. It also features power steering and power front disc
brakes. The black bucket seat interior looks good. The headliner,
carpet, door panels, armrest bases and kick panels all look good as
well. In between the bucket seats coming up through the floor is a
correct round bar Hurst 4 speed shifter with correct black shift
knob. Sitting in the drivers seat and looking forward: the dash has
the optional in dash tach and fuel gauge (the gauge lenses are
clear), it also has the optional SS steering wheel. The dash pad is
very nice, no cracks. It also is radio delete. The undercarriage is
just as nice as the top side, the floors are all clean metal. The
bottom of the motor is clean, the Muncie M20 transmission is clean
as well. The front end has been rebuilt, the bushings, ball joints,
shocks and steering components have been replaced. In the back it
has multi leaf springs, front and rear shocks have been replaced.
It has a 12-bolt posi rear end with 3:73 gears, new gas tank,
sending unit and straps. It has power front disc brakes. This
Camaro has a newer chambered dual exhaust system with correct
stainless tailpipes running out the back. The E-brake assembly is
complete and working. The trunk is all clean original metal. It is
nicely detailed with a spare tire, jack assembly and lug wrench. It
also has new weather stripping. This 1969 Camaro has the looks and
performs as a muscle car should!! *Please contact us for the most
