This 1998 Chevy Silverado Z71 1/2 ton pickup is a very nice, very
clean low mileage truck that spent its life in Oregon. This truck
has been well cared for and it shows. This is a very original truck
with the 3rd door option. The body on this Z71 is clean and
straight. The Emerald Green Metallic paint looks excellent and it
is a beautiful color. The hood and roof did get repainted because
of some fading and clear coat issues but the rest is original. All
of the original chrome and stainless is in beautiful condition. The
underside is also nice and clean and we found no rust issues with
this truck.
The interior is also very clean and really nice. The seats, carpet,
headliner, door panels, dash, and dash bezel are all original and
really nice. The headlights, taillights, brake lights, and turns
signals are all working. It has working power windows and power
locks. This truck has tilt wheel and working cruise control. The
power mirrors work and the driver power seat also works. The horn,
windshield wipers, heat, and AC are also working.
Mechanically this truck is top notch and it runs and drives great!
The engine is the original 5.7L 350 Vortec V8 that runs strong and
smooth with no issues or red flags that we found. It recently had a
new alternator and battery installed. The transmissiom is the 4L60E
Automatic that shifts nice and it is mated to the np246 transfer
case. The 4WD works like it should. It has the 12 Bolt rear axle
with 3.73 gears and a factory limited slip. The front axle is the
IFS with 3.73 gears. This is all sitting on a nice set of
aftermarket aluminum rims with some nice All terrain tires size
265/70/16. It does have a set of original rims that will come with
the truck.
