1954 Austin Healey 100
Man is this a nice restoration that has stood the test of time.
Here we have a numbers matching, correctly restored- top to bottom,
that is true to its Heritage (birth) Certificate. This car has had
a complete, comprehensive ground up restoration.
Finished in Carmine red over a beautiful red interior just check
out the level of detail that was put into the restoration. First
place I look in an old Healey is the rear doglegs, outriggers and
frame. This one is extremely well done. Built in May of 54 and
dispatched to the US I'm gonna say that this old girl looks as
good, or more likely, better, then the day she rolled off the line
in England.
The red top is extremely nice as is the red tonneau cover. The side
curtains are present in the boot along with receipts, and some
history including the Heritage Certificate.
This 100 drives as well as it looks with working overdrive and all
gauges functioning. Take a look at the comprehensive pictures they
are a very good representation of this Healey.
Oh, by the way, check out the picture of this Healey as a cover
girl on the October 2004 Healey Marque Magazine- don't let the date
scare you this one looks like it was restored two years ago not
22!!!!!- A great restoration stands the test of time.
