K-Code 1972 Nova SS, A.K.A Hazel!ONLY 33k ORIGINAL MILES! This is
one of the coolest cars weve ever had! It was special ordered in
1971, and the original window sticker, Protect-O-plate, new vehicle
inspection from the original dealer, maintenance logs, owners
manual, many historical and restoration photos will be included in
the sale!Powered by its original, numbers matching L48 350ci V8,
mated to a Muncie 4-speed transmission. The original engine and
transmission were pulled out of the car in 1973, set aside, and
replaced with a 327ci and top loader 4-speed, and the car was drag
raced through the 70s. It also has power brakes (front discs).More
recently, the car was disassembled and beautifully restored,
preserving the original paint and interior, then the original L48
and a Muncie 4-speed were put back in the car. As you can see from
the photos, it was a high-quality restoration and the undercarriage
is FLAWLESS!Finished in beautiful Golden Brown from the factory,
the mostly original paint was preserved with clear coat during the
restoration and looks AMAZING for its age. Any rock chips, patina,
etc. were untouched for originality.The Light Covert cloth interior
is all original, including the original vinyl/rubber flooring, and
is in EXCELLENT condition! The factory radio, gauges, etc all work!
Floor mats and a column mounted tachometer are the only
non-original parts in the interior.Along with the original engine
being rebuilt, some parts added over the years include: a set of
Thrush headers (purchased in 1972..a framed Thrush ad will be
included in the sale), Flowmaster exhaust, Lakewood traction bars,
subframe connectors, Accel Super Coil, Weiand intake manifold, and
a Holley carburetor.Its near impossible to find something this
original, in this condition, with the amazing history and
