This Austin Healey factory 100 LeMans was originally purchased by a U.S. military advisor in 1954 when he was stationed in England. It was purchased at the Donald Healey Motor Company, Warwick, England. The LeMans race modifications were made to this car at the Donald Healey Motor Company, August 3, 1955. These were the current race modifications to run in upcoming racing events. The cost for these modifications was 900 British pounds. This was before the M cars were manufactured. The cost of this car when purchased new at the Healey Motors Company was 2100 British pounds. This is the only Healey 100 with documentation that was modified with the LeMans M prior to the M cars being released. This car is in the 100M Register as a documented factory LeMans, Pre-M. I have the original 1954 sales receipt, the original document stating the LeMans modifications and receipt. This car has been totally restored, every nut and bolt. It has excellent paint. Not a scratch. It is in beautiful condition. It is Milli Miglia eligible. I have a large amount of original documents, original tools, literature, manuals, Austin Healey certificate, and 1st place awards.
