This one was signed by Carroll Shelby. In 1966 the Shelby Mustang GT350 Fastback was only 1372 sold to the public.
This Shelby has been fully documented in the Shelby Registry since the original delivery through every subsequent owner till present. This stunning Shelby boasts only a little over 52,000 original documented miles! Originally this GT350 was delivered as a Ivy Green metallic but was later redone in 1984 with the more desirable Wimbledon White lacquer with blue stripes.
Under the hood is the numbers matching K-code 289 "HiPo" V8 originally tuned by Shelby to produce 360hp. In 1986 the original engine was freshened and a recommended supercharger matched cam was installed. The vintage correct “blow thru” Paxton Supercharger was also added during the freshening and is just a bonus to bumping her up to 440hp. Putting all this power in motion is toploader 4 speed manual transmission mated to a 9" rear end with a factory "locker" differential.
This Shelby has been converted to the GT350R (race) model with features like a roll bar, removed rear seat, removed radio, acrylic vented rear window, 1965 style side exit exhaust, heavy duty rear sway bar, R model front apron with brake cooling ducting and more! After the R conversion this Shelby actually raced a few times at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course during the 1997 season.
