Vehicle Description
"The first-generation Camaro saw production from 1966 to 1969 (1967
- 1969 model years) . It was a stylish and powerful sports car that
perfectly represented the era of American automotive muscle. The
Camaro was available as a convertible or hardtop and had a two-door
body style, as well as a 2+2 seat configuration. This sporty
appearance made the Chevy Camaro an instant
hit."-beverlyhillscarclub.com
This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro is finished in a 1993 Mitsubishi Blue
exterior with a black vinyl interior and is powered by a 327 cubic
inch V8 motor paired with a 4-speed manual transmission.
Restored approximately 25 years ago and purchased out of
California, the paint on this Camaro shows very well with a great
overall appearance. Upon close inspection you will see some rust
popping through the paint at some of the lower points of the car.
These areas are identified in the pictures.
Upon starting the car your senses will come alive with the rumble
of dual exhaust, step on the gas and there is plenty of power
provided by the 327 cubic inch motor as you shift through the gears
on the Muncie transmission with Hurst shifter.
The first-generation Camaro's have been popular since their
unveiling and continue to be a popular choice for the classic car
enthusiast today.
