Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 27th year in the
classic and muscle car business. According to the Jeep website, the
Jeep CJ-5 has probably logged more trail miles than any other Jeep.
And why not? With a long production run (1955-1983), rugged 4x4
reliability, and tidy dimensions, these Jeeps set the standard for
rock crawlers everywhere. This outstanding 1969 CJ-5 is a fine
example of these historically important pieces of mechanical
Americana. Lift the hood and you'll see the Buick-sourced 225 V6
that was so good that Buick repurchased the tooling in the early
1970's and used the engines for another 30 years! Additional
features include power steering, power front disc brakes, Vintage
Air A/C, automatic transmission, tilt steering column with custom
wheel, a newer stereo system, and 7.50-16LT tires wrapped around
painted steel wheels. Oh yeah, and there is a decommissioned
Browning M1919 .30 caliber machine gun mounted in back. It pretty
much ends all road rage arguments! This gem was used for taking
veterans to their final resting place in funeral processions, so
the previous owner removed the front driveshaft for greater
economy. If this clean CJ-5 looks like your kind of fun, call the
Texas Hill Country's premier source for classic vehicles and the
team that can make your dream a reality. Street Dreams
