CMC is proud to have this authentic 1969 Nova SS L78 396/375HP in our showroom. Powered by the numbers matching engine and backed by the M-21 4 Speed manual transmission, and being highly optioned makes this Nova SS one rare find!

The car being offered is a real L78 big-block edition, comes out of a long term private collection. With an odometer reading of less than 16,000 miles, this Nova SS is powered by a matching-numbers 396/375 HP V-8 engine. There is a Winters aluminum intake that hosts a 4-barrel carburetor and a black open-element air cleaner with a Chevrolet lettering scheme. The dual exhaust is fed by the cast iron manifolds, and the heads wear chrome valve covers. This engine is backed by a 4-speed manual transmission and a 12-bolt rear end, and the car also features power brakes with a detailed master cylinder and booster.
The outside is done in Dusk Blue, highlighted by the trim level that defined all big-block Nova SS models. These cars were often little more than a big engine with no extra frills. However, on this car, there is a complementary blue vinyl interior equipped with front bucket seats, a Hurst shifter with white ball knob, a pair of AutoMeter underdash auxiliary gauges, a pushbutton AM/FM radio and an in-dash electric clock. Other touches of note are the three-spoke sport steering wheel, roof-mounted shoulder belts and tinted glass. Outside, one finds the blackout grille with SS center tag, ribbed hood inserts, the SS rear panel and the small 396 numerals associated with the front marker lamps. The final touches to this stellar car are its 5-spoke SS wheels wearing Wide Oval Super Sport redline tires.
