Here is a 2015 Corvette with the Z51 Performance Package and a 7-speed manual transmission – a great combination! With a clean history and just 12k miles this beautiful 1LT example is hardly broken in. It looks fantastic with its Torch Red paint and optional chrome aluminum wheels (19” front, 20” rear). It is further adorned with racing stripes along with a Z06 style front splitter and rocker extensions. It’s enough to raise your pulse just looking at it.
The drivetrain is all stock starting with the LT1 direct injected engine. Being a Z51 it includes dry sump lubrication and the NPP performance exhaust system for a little more power (460 hp) and a great sound under load. But even with all this power on tap it is still rated at a remarkable 29 mpg highway. The transmission is the 7-speed manual with rev matching, while the electronically locking differential has 3.42 gears and an external cooler. Other Z51 goodies include the FE3 suspension for superior handling along with the larger J55 performance brakes with slotted rotors. Tires are the original Michelin Pilot Super Sports (P245/35ZR19 front, P285/30ZR20 rear).
Looking inside this Corvette reveals just what you’d expect from a car with so few miles. The black leather interior looks amazing and still has a hint of new car scent. The power bucket seats offer 8-way adjustment; there is no reason to not be comfortable in this car! It also has power a power tilt / telescoping steering column. The dash centers around an 8” color touch screen which also conceals a hidden storage compartment. Other nice features include dual climate control and a Bose premium 9-speaker audio system with Bluetooth and smart phone compatibility. All manuals and the original window sticker are included. And finally, the carbon fiber roof panel is easily removed and stowed for spontaneous open-air motoring.
The C7 is unique in the history of Corvettes. It had a relatively short life from 2014-2019 and is the last Corvette with a front engine and a clutch pedal, making it an intriguing car for collectors and speculators. But while nobody knows what the future might hold, you can be certain that this low-mile example offers outstanding performance and shows like new.
