The 1974 model has quite a few distinctive features: transition from steel bumpers has just ended with both front rear and back, now made out of polyurethane (plastic). The rear one had a vertical seam unique for the year. It was also the last year of true dual exhaust and no catalytic converters...
Our offer today is a fine example of the era, a T-Top Coupe endowed with the optional L82 engine, mated with the 4-speed manual transmission, dressed in Blue with Blue interior. Indeed, the HP rating for the RPO L82 was 250, but, with all the mods below, the engine likely pushes towards 300 HP. Mileage is actual and documented at 61K, car having virtually one owner. Quality is exquisite, the paint is original and shines brightly. Interior is all original too, with the exception of new correct seats. Present owner, a long time enthusiast from NC, recently did a lot of work as below:
Replace intake manifold (Edelbrock Performer)
Install Carburetor (Edelbrock Performer AVS 2) Edelbrock 8725 spacer, Air breather
Install custom throttle bracket
Replace all vacuum and brake booster lines
Install new Patriot tight tuck shorty headers
Install full 2 1/2” aluminized dual exhaust with Magnaflow performance mufflers
Installed 3 1/2” chrome tips
Mount Fuel pump, mounting plate, gasket and line hook ups
Water Pump – Install hardware, water lines, belt – Fill radiator fluid
Mount Power Steering pump
Replace engine sensor engine harness
Install new control valve – hook up lines, belt, fill power steering fluid, Ram bushings.
Replace oil pressure sensor
Replace alternator – belt, all electrical connections
Prime oil pump, check for oil flow
Changed all fluids – Motor, Transmission, Rear differential, Brake fluid
Install HEI distributor and wires
Install plugs, plug wires, wire boots, wire looms
Mount OEM reconditioned valve covers, 2 cork/rubber Fel Pro gaskets
Install (set of 4) KYG Gas Shocks
Upgraded to Front 1” sway bar
Full set of 4 new tires (255/60/15” Cooper Cobra Radial A/T
Install 2 rear aluminum 1” wheel spacers for stance
Installed rear lowering kit for stance
Recondition OEM Rally Wheels, Lug nuts, Trim rings/Center caps
Replaced L/R OEM inner door shields
Replace speedometer - Driven gear 20 tooth blue, O-ring, 90 degree cable adapter
Install new Retro radio with custom speaker boxes and JVC 200 watt speakers
Replace OEM clutch and brake pedal pads
New factory OEM assembled driver and passenger seats
Install new Aluminum Radiator and cap
The Silver vinyl decal is easily removable if needed.
