1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS Convertible Dover White & Hugger Orange
350 V8This beautifully restored 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS
Convertible blends classic styling with tasteful performance
upgrades, all wrapped in a head-turning Dover White exterior
accented by bold Hugger Orange SS stripes. A new white convertible
top with an orange boot cover completes the striking look.Under the
hood sits a rebuilt GM 350cid V8, restored to stock specs and
topped with an Edelbrock aluminum intake, Holley carb, finned valve
covers, and a matching air cleaner. The original wiring harness has
been updated with a new HEI distributor, plug wires, starter,
alternator, and ceramic-coated headers feeding into a 2.5"
performance exhaust system with high-flow mufflers for a throaty
rumble.Cooling is handled by an older new radiator, flex fan, and
cast water pump, while power is delivered through the original
automatic transmission, rebuilt to stock specs. The drivetrain is
completed by an original 12-bolt rear axle, left in its unrestored
state for authenticity.Inside, the original front and rear seats
have been reupholstered in vibrant orange vinyl with classic
houndstooth inserts, perfectly complementing the car's sporty
heritage. The cabin retains its original dash, now sporting a new
black vinyl dash pad and woodgrain trim panels. Original gauges,
speedometer, tachometer, steering column, and steering wheel remain
untouched, preserving a vintage feel.Comfort and style continue
with a new black carpet kit, chrome sill plates, new door and rear
panels, kick panels, armrests, and chrome handles. The center
console and shifter remain in their original, unrestored condition,
offering an authentic driving experience. The body features fully
restored original steel components, including the doors, fenders,
quarters, hood, and signature RS hideaway headlights. The original
trunk lid and rear spoiler have also been restored, with new
weatherstripping throughout. Fresh chrome bumpers, RS grille, door
handles, mirrors, and emblems elevate the exterior detailing.Glass
includes original side and quarter windows, with a new rear window
and windshield for improved clarity and safety. Lighting has been
refreshed with new headlights, front signals, side markers, and
taillights.Underneath, the Camaro rides on refurbished front
control arms and rear leaf springs, new shocks, and a stock frame
that has not been restored but sits atop a ground-up rebuilt
platform. The fuel system retains its original tank and lines,
paired with a new fuel pump, while braking is managed by
refurbished original front disc and rear drum brakes. This '69 RS/SS
is a stunning example of a factory-style restoration enhanced with
period-correct upgrades and modern flair---ready to cruise, show,
or just turn heads. This vehicle is presented by Sherwood Motorcars
