This Awesome A-Body is more than meets the eye! It is Mopar
Magazines oct 2020 featured car, it is a beautiful and well thought
out build making it a true Must See. This 65 Valiant will get your
blood pumping as soon as you twist the key! The car is powered by a
360 V8 punched out to a 406 Stroker! This engine was built for
street but still puts out nearly 500hp! 340 fully machined j Heads,
tunnel ram intake and throwback Dual Holley 660 carbs with chromed
veil stacks! Accel Super Coil with matching yellow plug wires,
Moroso cool can to keep gas cooled off and prevent vapor locking if
you are on extended trips around town or car cruises in heavy
traffic. Aluminum Radiator with huge core (Painted Black to look
stock) keeps this car cool even in stop and go city traffic.
Automatic 904 transmission with manual valve body and stall
converter with the B&M Quick Click auto shifter make this car
very street-able but also very FUN to drive! 8-3/4 rear axle with
4.88 gears make cruising around town a blast. Everywhere you look
you will find era correct speed parts and goodies that were NOS and
installed during the restoration. Examples are a Sun II chromed
mechanical tach mounted atop the dash, Mr. Gasket Giant Killer
traction bars that are huge. Era correct 14x6 Cragar wheels all the
way around. The car has Double redline tires up front with
8x8.50x14 cheater slicks tucked perfectly into the factory rear
wheel tubs, they give nice grip and obviously give an intimidating
stance. The interior was restored using Legendary interior pieces
that look simply perfect. Four point roll cage adds the era correct
retro street car look and is also functional if you decide to get a
little daring. This car not only cosmetically lives up to its name
Temper Tantrum it also performs like a true lightweight from the
era as it can be driven like a street rod or you can break the
tires loose and fill the street with a cloud of smoke billowing off
the tires as the car sits still. This restoration was completed a
few months prior to being featured in Mopar magazine in 2020. The
previous owner for 30 years, always garage kept this one and it has
been kept a rust free car! With original sheet metal and just one
repaint 20 years ago that has been recently wet sanded and polished
giving it an awesome vintage look with minor wear for a street car
look but still has a nice shine. The Chrome is stunning,
Undercarriage was blasted and painted so you can now eat off of it,
the drivetrain was removed, engine bay cleaned up and and the new
powerhouse was installed. If you are looking for a Done, Complete
car that truly demands attention everywhere it goes... THIS is the
car for you! Mopars are collectible, and this one does not need
anything!NOTES: This car is street-able but is also capable of 11
second 1/4 mile passes if you desire. The car Has not been on the
track but these calculations do come from the mouth of the engine
