Many of us aspire to own a fully customized hot rod at some point
in life. However, oftentimes the cost, time, and amount of trial
and error necessary to do it yourself can be significant barriers
to entry. But, with a car like this yellow 1930 Ford Victoria
Streetrod, all the hard work has been done, and with just 1,592
miles since it was built, all that's left to do is for you to enjoy
cruising behind the wheel for years to come. With its shaved door
handles, this car looks classically clean from any angle.
Inside, we find a custom tan interior featuring a set of plush and
supportive Recaro bucket seats complemented by custom door panels
and headliner. The custom theme continues with a two-spoke billet
steering wheel that sits in front of a white-faced Dakota Digital
gauge cluster set against a beautiful aluminum dash panel. A simple
two-pedal setup looks clean and perfectly at home with its matching
billet presentation. Overhead, we find toggle switches for the
power windows and gas door operation, along with a JVC
AM/FM/Cassette head unit and matching JVC equalizer to allow you to
dial in the perfect amount of bass and treble for your road trip
soundtrack.
Wedged between those sculpted fenders, we find a rebuilt Ford
sporting a 1965 289 CID casting code. Along with its iron heads,
this engine features an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifold fed
by a matching Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor. Ignition is
provided by a Malory distributor cap and coil setup, while a set of
long tube headers feeds into a true dual exhaust and polished
mufflers capped off with center-mounted exhaust tips. Power is
routed through a Ford C4 three-speed automatic transmission before
heading out to a modified 1979 Corvette differential where stout
3.70 gears wait to those ponies to the pavement via fifteen-inch
Aluminum Budknik wheels shod in staggered Hankook tires measuring
195/50R-15 in front and wider 235/70R-15 in back to give this car
its classic hot rod look.
