This 1964 Ford Falcon Ranchero was purchased by the seller as a partially completed project. Subsequent refurbishment work included the installation of a 170ci inline-six, a three-speed automatic transmission, bolstered bucket seats, and side exhaust pipes with chrome covers. Additional equipment includes an aluminum radiator, an auxiliary electric fan, an HEI distributor, wrapped exhaust headers, a center console, and aftermarket gauges as well as 14″ alloy wheels with radial tires and whitewall simulators. The truck was repainted under prior ownership in light blue with a pearl white roof, and the blue interior is accented with black and white seat upholstery. This Falcon Ranchero is now offered with a clean California title in the seller’s name.
Originally finished in Wimbledon White, the truck was refinished in light blue with a white pearl roof under prior ownership. Features include cargo bed moldings, chrome bumpers, and side exhaust pipes. Chips and cracks in the paint are pictured in the gallery along with spots of corrosion and rust perforation in the bottom of the driver’s door.
The 14″ alloy wheels are finished in gray and wrapped in 205/75 Doral radial tires covered in removable whitewall simulators. The pickup is equipped with front coil and rear leaf springs, and stopping power is provided by front and rear drum brakes.
The cabin features bolstered aftermarket bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl with white stripes. Interior appointments include a center console vent windows, and a dashboard storage compartment. The seller notes the radio and horn do not work, and the steering wheel shows cracks.
The two-spoke steering wheel features a chrome horn ring and fronts a horizontal 120-mph speedometer flanked by gauges indicating fuel level and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 2,800 miles, which is not accurate according to the seller. Approximately 5k miles have been added under current ownership, and total mileage is unknown.
The warranty number indicates the truck was built with a 170ci inline-six in San Jose, California. Further decoding the data plate reveals the following production information:
