1961 Buick LeSabre Bubbletop - Extremely RARE and beautiful example of a classy one year only body style for the flagship Buick!1 of roughly 4,400 "bubbletop" coupes made with gorgeous lines and recently restored in 2023 with alot of attention to detail. Powered by the infamous 364ci-300hp "Nailhead" V8 with an updated Buick Wildcat intake and 4bbl carb. Factory "DynaFlow" automatic transmission, power steering and power brakes with the iconic finned aluminum brake drums in front. All new suspension which has been lowered just a touch from factory height and gives it the perfect stance on a new set of 20" show chrome wheels. The original 15" steel wheels with accessory Invicta hubcaps and wide white tires are also available if a more factory look is desired. Exterior has been completely dis-assembled, sandblasted and re-finished in a luxurious shade of Aston Martin's "Lightning Silver" with gorgeous accessory trim from front to back. All original tinted glass is in great shape and all the chrome has been professionally re-finished. Interior contrasts perfectly with a complete kit from SMS Upholstery in the factory correct blue tones throughout. All gauges, lights, wipers, heater and even the optional "speed warning alarm" work as they should but the original AM radio does not. Underside is very clean with no signs of any current rust or rot issues and the engine bay is extremely detailed out. Car cruises comfortably at any speeds, is an absolute pleasure to drive and a real head-turner everywhere it goes. This may have been the middle-of-the-road model for the Buick lineup but the price tag was still a whopping $600 more than a fully optioned Impala in 1961!
