Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1993 Porsche 928 GTS
5-speed manual. Finished in Amazon Green (a stunning dark
blue-green metallic shade) over grey interior, this 928 presents to
a very nice standard both inside and out. The digital odometer is
showing 76,402 kilometers, which translates to just under 47,500
miles. Factory 17-inch alloy wheel in excellent condition are
wearing Michelin Pilot Sports with 2024 date codes.
Interior remains in excellent original condition with soft and
supple leather seating surfaces showing virtually no wear.
Excellent door panels, headliner, carpets, steering wheel and dash
(with no cracks, shrinkage or warping). All gauges, lights and
indicators are working and there are no dead pixels in the
instrument cluster.
Under the hood is a potent four-cam 5.4 liter V8 which makes 345
horsepower. It's mated to a five-speed manual transaxle with a
dogleg shift pattern. A recent major service in March of this year
included a timing belt, water pump, all fluids and filters, plus
a/c service.
While we've always been fond of the 928's styling, the early US
cars (most of which were ordered with a non-overdrive automatic)
were pretty uninspiring to drive. Porsche kept improving the
drivetrain throughout the run, which culminated with the 928 GTS
offered from 1992 to 1995 - finally a 928 that offered blistering
performance to match its good looks. One of the fastest production
cars of its day, it still feels quick even by modern standards.
