2003 Ford Thunderbird! This sporty roadster comes to us today
dressed in its original Evening Black factory paint coat that is
still in excellent condition with only a few minuscule
imperfections low on the front end from having been driven. This
Thunderbird certainly hasn't been driven much, though, as the scant
14,147 actual miles on the odometer and the immaculate condition of
the whole car will attest! This one-family owned T-Bird also has a
clean CarFax that backs up the incredibly low mileage. The front
end of the car harkens back to the look of the 1955 T-Bird with a
modest hood scoop, round headlights, and a low chrome eggcrate
front grille. Just above that bright grille is a gleaming chrome
and turquoise Thunderbird emblem that adds just the right touch.
While most all of the exterior is covered in glossy black paint,
there are some well-placed bright accents to add some extra flair.
There is a chrome band surrounding the windshield, bright V-8
badges on the fenders, bright "Thunderbird" script emblems on the
rear quarters, and chrome trim around the porthole windows on the
removable hard-top. Adding to the bling are a set of bright
aluminum alloy factory wheels wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza tires.
Just like the early T-Birds, this car comes with both a power
convertible soft-top and a removable hard-top - both black and in
flawless condition. The hard top does require 2 people to remove,
as it weighs 90 lbs. The hard top comes equipped with rear defrost
and a tight fabric headliner. Around back, you'll find round tail
lights that emulate the headlight style, a Thunderbird emblem just
like the one up front, and dual chrome exhaust tips.
Under the hood is a 3.9-liter V-8 that puts out 280 hp and 286
ft/lb of torque, making this one quick little roadster. The engine
compartment is impeccably clean - it looks like it just rolled off
the production line! The V-8 is mated up to a 5-speed automatic
transmission with a manual shifting option and rear-wheel drive.
Stopping power comes from 4-wheel power disc brakes. Open the
driver's door to reveal a luxurious interior done all in black with
bright accent pieces on the doors and dash. The black
leather-trimmed bucket seats are power-adjustable, heated, and in
excellent condition. The driver is treated to a leather-wrapped
steering wheel with cruise and radio controls that's on an
electronic tilt & telescopic column. Creature-comforts and power
options abound with power locks, mirrors, and windows, dual-zone
climate controls with cold A/C, grey-backed instrument cluster with
turquoise gauge needles, keyless entry, security alarm system,
driver's message center, traction control, dual airbags, black
leather-wrapped shift knob, and 2 cupholders. Drivers who enjoy
their cruisin' music will love the AM/FM stereo radio with in-dash
6-disc CD changer and premium Audiophile sound system. In the
glovebox, you'll find the original owner's manual portfolio and
receipts from oil changes and battery replacement. Underfoot are
carpeted black factory floor mats that keep the fresh black carpet
looking nice. Back in the carpeted trunk is a black boot cover, a
folding stand for the hardtop, and a cover for the hardtop as
well.
