1979 CHEVROLET CORVETTE COUPE W/T-TOPS 25k ACTUAL MILE SURVIVOR! 350 AUTOMATIC COLD A/C!! LOTS OF ORIGINAL DOCUMENTATION This Corvette is a 25k actual mile survivor, #s matching, factory red car. It is completely original down to the tires. Ready to win all the Corvette awards. The original owner ordered this car special with all these options, we have the original order form. All the literature like manuals, brochures, warranty booklets are included. 1 owner for 25 years. The exterior appears to be in all original condition, considering its age it is in excellent shape. The body has no signs of damage, everything fits very nicely. The rubber bumpers are even in excellent shape. The paint appears to be original, no signs of overspray or tape lines anywhere. The paint finish is still remarkably beautiful considering its age. It has optional sport mirrors and a power antenna. The aluminum wheels are also an option and these are in excellent condition. Those are even the original Goodyear GT tires. Although they are past their expiration date, they look close to new. The weatherstrips are still soft. The interior is practically brand new inside. The genuine leather on the sport seats and steering wheel are still glove soft. The instrument panel, lenses, vents, console, heater control panel are excellent. The shifter ball has no wear. It still has the original AM/FM stereo with an 8 track player. There are even 8 track tapes in the glovebox. The door panels, trim, and visors are mint. The carpet and mats are not worn. In back it does have the sun shade, the T-tops bags are in the compartment, the battery was replaced with a Delco. It has the convenience group which includes interior light delay, which is working. The engine compartment is as it left the factory. It has it's original VIN # matching performance L-48 350ci motor 195hp. It also has air conditioning, power steering and brakes. The engine compartment is nicely detailed and correct. The smog pump is still completely hooked up. The air cleaner assembly is complete. Actually it looks 100% stock. The underside is just as it left the factory. It has not even been spray painted. All the assembly line markings are very visible throughout. It has it's original vin # matching 3 speed automatic transmission. In back it has its original rear end with high performance 3:70 gears. It still has its original exhaust system including catalytic converter and the mufflers are dated. The original spare has never been used, it has the ink stamp on the tread. All the components look proper. It has independent suspension front and back. Disc brakes at all four wheels. They are only original once! You can't ever go back and get another one. Corvettes are always sought after, this one is an excellent investment. It would be a fun hobby taking this to the Corvette shows and getting the awards!
