Rare 1968 Torino GT convertible ranks among the lowest production
numbers for all Torino's that year with only 3,939 made. This 1968
Ford Torino GT Convertible wears Dark Blue Metallic paint accented
by white decal stripes running the length of the body. The white
vinyl convertible top contrasts beautifully with the deep blue
finish, while 14" GT rally wheels wrapped in 215/70R14 BFGoodrich
T/A radial tires complete the exterior package. Original
sheetmetal, bumpers, emblems, and trim remain intact
throughout.
Blue vinyl bench seat interior maintains its original character
with column shifter and power steering wheel positioned for
comfort. AM radio provides entertainment while power steering and
power convertible top add convenience to the driving experience.
Seatbelts secure occupants safely, and the blue vinyl upholstery
matches the exterior's blue theme perfectly.
Rebuilt 390 V8 engine with approximately 1,000 miles since
completion powers this GT through a rebuilt C6 three-speed
automatic transmission. Edelbrock intake manifold feeds the engine
while aluminum water pump and radiator keep temperatures
controlled. Power disc brakes up front handle stopping duties with
power drum brakes in the rear. Ford 9-inch rear axle with 2.75
gears transfers power to the pavement through dual exhaust with
aftermarket mufflers.
