Selling my California black plate 1967 Mercury Cougar XR7. I purchased the car October 2016 from the seller in Santa Monica, California. I had extensive work completed, too much to list everything. Car was repainted in its current shade of green with pinstripes. Odometer showed 21,979 miles when purchased, current odometer reading shows 22,577 miles. It has a 289 cubic inch V8 with a new four barrel Holly Street Warrior carburetor and electronic ignition, paired with C4 automatic transmission. Front end was rebuilt, new KYB shocks, coils, brake pads, bearings, seals, and rotors. Rear differential was serviced, new lubricant, gaskets, seals, brake pads, drums, brake wheel cylinders, and KYB shocks. Chrome Coker wheels and Cooper Cobra Radial tires (date stamp code 2622). Car also comes with steel wheels mounted with Uniroyal Tiger Paw tires and hub caps. Duel Flowmaster 40 series exhaust. Rear bumper, and bumper guard were re-chromed, exterior stainless was polished prior to installing after paint job. Car has a clean California title in the seller’s name. Interior was updated with new chrome pieces, center roof console, door sill scuff plates, door handles, arm rests, and new RetroSound RetroRadio. Engine has new water pump, fuel pump, oil pump and pickup screen, oil pan, alternator, starter, timing chain, timing chain cover, brake master cylinder, heater hoses, radiator hoses, thermostat, spark plugs wires and K&N air filter. Brake booster and steering pump were rebuilt. Many more items were replaced. Car runs great, comfortable, and is a head turner.
