1970 Chevrolet Chevelle - Killer example of everyone's favorite era Chevelle with plenty of Show & Go!! Previous cosmetic restoration on a very soild southern car that just recently had a complete drivetrain upgrade over the winter of 2025. Professionally built 383-stroker motor producing nearly 425hp with Dart aluminum heads, roller rockers, Comp cam, Edelbrock aluminum intake, Holley 4bbl carb, Billet front-runner system, MSD electronic ignitio, Doug's Headers and a custom stainless exhaust system. All this power is put the pavement thanks to a newly installed Muncie M-21 4-speed and a correct 1970 12-bolt posi-rear with 3.31 gears. Car sounds awesome and is a blast to drive at any speeds but will really giddy-up when you stick your foot in it. This was also a factory A/C car and the system has been converted over to R-134 with new components. The factory power steering has also been updated along with the addition of a power disc brake setup in front. The aggressive muscle stance is achieved by a full Hotchkis "Pro-Touring" style setup underneath with boxed trailing arms, drop spindles, performance lowering springs, all new bushings and a correct set of 15" SS Rally wheels on new BFG white letter tires that really compliment an iconic street machine look. Exterior is finished in the attractive, trim-tag correct "Green Mist" metallic with added rally stripes, a Cowl Induction hood and original tinted glass. Excellent chrome bumpers and nice stainless trim from front to back. All the sheet metal, floors and trunk seem to be original to the car with factory pinch welds and stampings still evident in all the right places. There is however one minuscule cancer spot starting to bubble on bottom of driver's side front fender (pictured) but nothing too serious. Interior contrasts nicely in the original dark green vinyl tones throughout with bench seat and floor shift. An upgraded RetroSound AM/FM stereo has been added for your listening pleasure along with some accessory gauges under the dash to keep an eye on all your vitals. Under the car is very clean with no signs of any current rust or rot issues and the engine bay is nicely detailed as well. As we all know, the 70 Chevelle has been the hottest car on the market recently and it can be tough to get your hands on one at a reasonable price. No, this is not your typical numbers matching Holy Grail or an SS-clone tribute or grandma's 6-cyl survivor Malibu but here is your chance to get behind the wheel of a really fun sleeper at a fraction of the cost. Guaranteed to still turn heads and win trophy's just like the rest of those six-figure "restomods" out there but without breaking the bank.
