factory for the 1979 Model year this proved to be more cost
effective for Oldsmobile where in the past they were sent out to a
separate factory to be converted. This 1979 Hurst Oldsmobile
Cutlass was purchased from the long time owner with an extensive
collection of Hurst Oldsmobile Models and has been well cared for
and garage kept during their ownership. This vehicle is in
excellent condition and has had a frame off restoration as well as
new upholstery and decals at the same time as restoration. Creature
comforts include air conditioning, power windows/locks, power seat,
cruise control and am/fm cassette radio. Our Hurst Olds shows the
original 55,399 miles and is fitted with its original 5.7 liter V8
motor equipped with a Quadra jet four-barrel and factory rated at
160 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. The gold-painted 14?
cast-aluminum wheels are mounted with Firestone Fire hawk Indy 500
Radial tires. Stopping power is provided by front disc and rear
drum brakes. The interior is trimmed in Camel Tan vinyl and
features front bucket seats and a rear bench as well as a
