Not only is this 57 bird gorgeous and fully restored, it's also
loaded with options! I just acquired it back from the people I sold
it to 22 years ago. It was hardly driven and stored in a dry
garage.
EXTERIOR: It is a beautiful car! Sporty lines complete with a hood
scoop and tail fins. The body and paint have really proven
themselves, 25 years old and still show quality! The body is
excellent with no rust or damage showing. The gaps are better than
they were new, the doors fit flush and close like a new car. The
colonial white paint is smooth and glossy. All of the chrome and
trim is shiny and straight. The windshield, seals and weatherstrips
were replaced. It includes a completely restored porthole hardtop
and a factory convertible top, not a cheap reproduction. The top
frame was restored, weatherstrips were replaced, the white
convertible is clean but wrinkled from being down. The chrome wire
wheels really make this car stunning, especially with red centers
that match the interior. They are wearing reproduction white wall
tires.
INTERIOR: The red really pops! It was completely restored inside.
The seat was recushioned and upholstered. The door panels were
replaced. The machine turned trim looks fresh. Down on the floor is
nice red carpet and the automatic shifter. The entire dash area is
in excellent shape. It has a factory tachometer and the clock still
works!
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: There's a lot of desirable features in this
restored engine compartment! At the heart of it is an optional 312
making 245 hp. It has the dress up kit which includes polished air
cleaner, chrome breather and finned valve covers. It also features
factory power steering and brakes. Air conditioning was never
offered but this one has modern a/c neatly installed. Every
component looks fresh and proper, even the wiring was replaced. It
was very well detailed, right down to the factory markings and
decals.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and the jamb are painted
slick. Inside has a complete liner kit that looks great. It has a
restored jack assembly and they even spent the extra money for a
5th matching wire wheel and whitewall for a spare.
UNDERSIDE: All the components were restored or replaced. The
steering and front and rear suspension were rebuilt and detailed.
The fuel system was replaced and brakes were rebuilt lines and
hoses were replaced. The exhaust was replaced and has vintage style
Smithy performance mufflers. Looking up at the motor it is
detailed. The Ford-O-Matic trans looks fresh too. The restored
driveshaft leads back to the restored rear end. The floors appear
to be solid original.
SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we
built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and
hired a team of technicians to work it. This is so we can sell you
the best cars within reason.
This is an exceptional example of a 57 T-bird! The restoration has
proven itself, I'm very impressed by it's quality. The option list
is very high and very desirable on this car. It's a beautiful early
sports car!
For nearly 30 years, I, Jay Grams, have personally written the
highlights for almost every car in our collection. What I provide
is my professional opinion based on my experience with these
vehicles. However, opinions can vary, and I strongly recommend a
personal inspection to form your own view. Our sales team is always
available to answer any questions you may have. One great option is
to request a personalized walk-around video, where we can showcase
the car and share our team's insights.
Our cars are displayed within a museum setting. If you are
interested in a specific vehicle, please schedule an appointment
with a salesperson to view it. Without an appointment, there is an
admission fee to enter the showroom. If you decide to purchase a
car, your admission will be refunded, and you'll receive a one-year
museum membership.
