Built as a show-winning street rod that earned recognition in
Street Rodder Magazine and claimed victory at World of Wheels, this
1932 Ford 3-Window Coupe wears Dupont Hot Hues Molten Bronze paint
with painted orange flames flowing across its glass body panels.
The aggressive stance sits on 16" Billet Specialties wheels up
front and 18" Billet Specialties wheels out back, wrapped in
205/50ZR16 front and 285/50R18 rear tires. LED taillights, turn
signals positioned behind the Dan Fink grille, and a custom
Harley-style pop-up fuel door complete the exterior
modifications.
The fully custom interior combines parchment and tan vinyl in a
bucket seat configuration crafted by Krist Customs. A custom
console houses the Lokar shifter while Classic Instrument gauges
fill the dashboard. The Kenwood AM/FM single CD stereo includes
auxiliary input and Bluetooth connectivity. Tilt steering wheel and
power windows add convenience to the cockpit design.
Power comes from a 350 Chevy V8 built with Comp Cam, Dart Pro 1
aluminum heads, chrome tunnel ram by Advanced Plating, MSD
ignition, and dual Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetors. The drivetrain
includes a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission feeding a 9" rear
axle. Sanderson long tube headers feed into MagnaFlow dual exhaust.
Four-wheel disc brakes with polished Wilwood calipers provide
stopping power. The chassis features transverse leaf springs with
shocks up front and 4-link coilovers in the rear, plus rack and
pinion steering on a frame modified with a flat front crossmember
for a 1" drop.
