1986 Chevrolet Silverado SWB - Gorgeous example of everyone's favorite shortbed squarebody! Recent frame-off restoration on an extremely solid southern truck with a good history and a folder of pics to document it. Nicely optioned truck from the factory with it's original SPID tag still in-tact! Appropriately powered by a rebuilt 5.7L 350-V8 with 700R-OD transmission. Factory power steering, power disc brakes, cruise control and working dual fuel tanks. Truck runs, drives and cruises excellent with a new Flowmaster stainless dual exhaust system that really gives it a great sound. Truck was restored to overall stock specs with the exception of a 4/6" lowering kit to give it a more proper stance and sits perfectly on a new set of polished aluminum 20" Torq-Thrust wheels with radial tires. Exterior is beautifully finished in the correct "Apple Red" with excellent chrome and trim throughout. The bed has even been sprayed with a color-matched rhino-line for protection and a new vinyl tonneau cover is included as well. Interior shows very well in the correct burgandy hues and everything works as it should. Nicely optioned from the factory with COLD A/C, heat, tinted windows, quartz clock, tilt steering wheel, rear cargo lamp and an updated AM/FM/iPod stereo with front/rear speakers. Underneath is extremely solid with no signs of any rust or rot issues and the engine bay is fully detailed throughout. We have gone through alot of trucks in our day and this one is by far one of the more solid, sorted-out and "tight" examples we have come across. A real head-turner and absolute joy to drive. These shortbed Chevy's have been on fire lately and it's getting tough to find the ones that haven't been modified, cut up, shortened or hot rodded. There's just something about a "good old truck" and this one here is exactly that! A real "cream puff" that's show worthy and ready for work or play!
