Chevrolet Corvette 1SA Convertible finished in its factory Electron
Blue exterior paint with Black Leather interior seats and a Black
convertible soft top! Under the hood lies a 5.7-liter V8 engine
pushing 350 horsepower and 360 lb.-ft of torque all mated to a
4-speed automatic 4L60E transmission! This sharp Blue Corvette
features manual air conditioning controls, Bose audio system with
remote 12-disc CD changer & power antenna, power locks & windows,
4-wheel ABS disc brakes, cruise control, optional performance 3.15
gear axle ratio, power trunk release, leather wrapped steering
wheel & shift knob, tilt steering column, body side moldings,
Active Handling Suspension, carpet floor mats, dual illuminated
vanity mirrors, tire pressure monitoring system, and reproduction
chrome Z06-style 5-spoke wheels with high performance BF Goodrich
g-Force Comp2 tires measuring 245/45R17 in the front and 275/40R18
at the rear.
This wonderfully cared for Corvette has been with its previous
owner since September 2007, when it was purchased with only 38,161
miles on the odometer. It has always been pampered and garage-kept
since new! Not long after getting used to the performance these LS1
engines have to offer, it was taken to Pur Performace of St.
Charles, MO in April 2011 for installation of American Racing 1.75"
headers with catalytic convertors, K&N high performance air
intake system, new spark plugs/wires, and an ECU tune my local LS
specialist, Ben Craven, while on a dynamometer. This Corvette now
puts down a respectable 331rwhp along with 345 ft. lbs. of torque!
Note: this is after driveline consideration with an automatic
transmission, so a nice improvement over stock. Plus, it SOUNDS

Included in the sale of this bright blue Convertible is the
original owner's manual, folding top instructions, both sets of
keys/remote fobs, past service records to 2007 indicating all oil
changes completed at Chevrolet using only Mobil 1 synthetic oil,
wheel lock lug key, clean CarFax report, storage car cover, and
painted front license plate bumper insert. Recent servicing
included new engine oil at 49,847 miles, replacement TPMS sensors
(4), all new front/rear brake pads & rotors, and cleaned &
recharged the K&N air filter. This is an outstanding example
with a terrific factory color combination, combined with a proper
ownership history. It has never been abused, raced, or mistreated.

History of Chevrolet's C5 Corvette Model:
Unveiled on January 6th, 1997, the new 5th generation Corvette(C5)
was the first GM vehicle to feature the 3rd generation small block
"LS" engine. This new generation Corvette featured a hydroformed
box frame, which eliminated the flex under spirited driving
conditions, pop-up headlights for the last time, and the
transmission was relocated to form an integrated, rear-mounted
transaxle assembly, connecting the LS1 engine with a torque tube.
This new set-up allowed for a 50-50 front-to-rear weight
distribution, and along with Chevrolet's new active handling
system, combined for world-class road manners!
