Only 1,175 miles on drivetrain. Owned by a mechanic that went
through it all: motor, trans, rear, suspension, brakes, etc. It's a
great looker too!
EXTERIOR: Everybody loves the color; it has a great stance too
sitting on those classic Cragar wheels! The body's absolutely
straight and fits right. I could not find any rust anywhere. It has
the SS package including the dual domed hood, emblems, and black
tail panel. It is very nicely painted this vibrant blue metallic
with no vinyl top. It's all laid out evenly and polished to a very
high gloss finish. The chrome is sparkling, the glass is very clear
and the weatherstrips were replaced. It sits real proud on a set of
15 inch Cragor wheels, extra wide in back and they're wearing BF
Goodrich sneakers.
INTERIOR: Down on the floor it has real nice carpet, seatbelts
front and back and a Sidewinder shifter. The seats have been
recushioned and upholstered, the door panels and armrests have been
replaced. The headliner and visors are in great shape. When you are
the one sitting in this car, you'll be looking at a very clean dash
area with a full set of Dakota Digital analog electronic gauges
that light up blue. The heater control cables were replaced along
with the heater core. Great sounding stereo with 2 amps, rear
speaker bar and a subwoofer.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: GM crate 502 making 550 hp! Upgraded with oil
pressure relief spring, and Crane gold roller rockers. It has GM
aluminum heads and intake with a Demon 850 carb, MSD ignition with
a billet distributor and 2 inch Hooker Super Comp Ceramic headers.
The front of the motor has March pulleys with serpentine belt, GM
type 2 power steering and 120 amp alternator. An aluminum water
pump and Cold Case radiator with dual electric fans keeps it
running cool. It also features power brakes.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Rock solid rust free metal. There's a panel full
of audio equipment including amplifiers and a Rockford Fosgate
Punch X crossover. Under the trunk lid and jamb are painted nice,
the weather strip was replaced.
UNDERSIDE: The suspension and steering were completely rebuilt:
springs, shocks, ball joints, bushings, steering box, pitman arm
etc. The 502 roars through the Pypes 3 inch stainless exhaust all
tig welded with x-pipe and Violater mufflers. Looking up at the
motor it has an extra capacity oil pan with a windage tray and
sump. 4L80E overdrive automatic transmission with upgraded
frictions, steels, valve body, a 3,000 rpm Circle D converter stall
with lock up and a Fast controller. New performance driveshaft
leads back to the rebuilt 12 bolt rear end with 3.55 posi, heavy
duty clutches and springs, new bearings. The floors are rust free
metal.
SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we
built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and
hired a team of technicians to work it. This is so we can sell you
the best cars within reason.
This Chevelle is a real tough guy, hit the key and you will know
what I mean! My service department says the new owner will be very
happy, it's really well built.
For nearly 30 years, I, Jay Grams, have personally written the
highlights for almost every car in our collection. What I provide
is my professional opinion based on my experience with these
vehicles. However, opinions can vary, and I strongly recommend a
personal inspection to form your own view. Our sales team is always
available to answer any questions you may have. One great option is
to request a personalized walk-around video, where we can showcase
the car and share our team's insights. **Our cars are displayed
within a museum setting. If you are interested in a specific
vehicle, please schedule an appointment with a salesperson to view
it. Without an appointment, there is an admission fee to enter the
showroom. If you decide to purchase a car, your admission will be
refunded, and you'll receive a one-year museum membership.
