Vehicle Description
IMPECCABLE CONDITION AND VERY WELL SORTED AND ORIGINAL E39 M5
FINISHED IN THE BEAUTIFUL CARBON BLACK METALLIC OVER BLACK LEATHER
INTERIOR WITH WOOD TRIM. Incredibly well cared for garage kept
example with just 99K original miles. We originally traded for this
car in 2007 on a Porsche 911 Carrera and subsequently sold it to a
longtime customer who has bought over 30 vehicles here when it had
just 54K original miles. He traded the car back to us in 2012 when
it had just 63K miles at which time we fully serviced and went
through the car including new upgraded headlight lenses on the
original headlight assemblies as well as new active headlight
adjuster internals to cure the usual headlights pointing into the
ground (still work properly and look great). before selling to
another good customer of ours who has kept the car tucked in his
garage for the past 13 years, driving it only 36k miles in that
time as his collector garage queen. We have now reacquired the
vehicle and just fully serviced and sorted it including new ABS
pump, ABS computer rebuild, some new hoses, belts, fluid flushes,
oil service, power steering service, window regulator, and full
detail and inspection. The car does also have newer Michelin Pilot
Sport tires all around installed at 97k miles. The car runs and
drives great with no major issues to be noted, excellent power,
shifts great, strong clutch, excellent brakes, and solid suspension
with no noises or issues. The paint and body are in truly amazing
condition as shown in the photos as well as detailed in the video
presentation. All major functions are in excellent working order
with the exception of the heated seat controls that do not stay
illuminated (have not diagnosed the issue). This car is optioned
with almost every factory option including: M Performance Audio
System with subwoofer, Rear parking sensors, Rear side impact
airbags, and wood interior trim. The car is in all stock condition
including intake and exhaust systems. It has had the ECU re-flashed
to address the secondary air injection issue common to all E39
M5's. Truly a collector quality example that you can jump in and
drive cross country at a moment's notice. Be sure to check out my
YouTube video presentation of the car here:
