Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to present this very rare
restored 1962 Oldsmobile F-85 Cutlass Convertible. This is a
special F85, owned by the same family from 1974 to 2021. They
bought it from the original owners and have kept, restored, and
loved this car. restored frame-off in 1997, and has documentation
to it over the past 50 years. it was scooped up into a private
collection in 2021 and it now back for sale, a great example of an
F-85!First introduced in 1961 as the top trim level in Olds'
compact F-85 line, over the years, the Cutlass name accumulated
great brand equity and became one of the most popular nameplates in
the industry in the 1970s. As General Motors began developing its
first compact cars, the Oldsmobile, dubbed F-85, would share a new
Y-body platform, using a 112-inch (2845 mm) wheelbase and
still-novel unibody construction, with the Buick Special and
Pontiac Tempest. This 62 Cutlass F85 is powered by the original All
Aluminum 215 CID V8, and is backed by the 3-speed Roto Hydramatic
Auto transmission. As fun as this 1962 Olds F-85 for sale is to
drive, the appearance certainly matches the lively driving
characteristics. This one is dressed neatly in factory White with
chrome trim. The interior features the Blue vinyl interior package,
which shows quite well. The White vinyl top accents the exterior
very nicely. The car is a real eye-catcher and commands attention
everywhere it goes. Options on this 1962 Oldsmobile F-85 Cutlass
include radial tires, seatbelts, and AM radio. Our Dallas Showroom
