Original sold to Mr Blakey of Los Angeles on September 28, 1964. This 356 has spent most of its life in California and Florida. It was then imported into Canada in 1988. This car still has the original four cylinder, 1600 cc engine and original four speed manual transmission. The original paint code is Signal Red/6407 with Black Leatherette interior. The car appears to have been repainted once over its life in the original Signal Red paint. The paint is extremely well done and very difficult to find evidence of a repaint. The front bucket seats have been refinished, otherwise the car has not been restored or modified. It is extremely clean throughout and is in exceptional condition. This Porsche is well documented with Certificate of Authenticity from Porsche. A history binder also accompanies the vehicle showing proof of service records and ownership records over the years. There is no evidence of any damage or accidents and paint meter readings show no evidence of fillers. All trim and chrome is in excellent condition. The windshield is original SIGLA. The wheels are factory original chrome wheels. The interior is excellent and still retains the fully functioning Blaupunkt Derby picnic radio original to the car. Also include spare tire, tire jack, factory original tool kit and original manuals and booklets. It is mechanically sound and sold with an Ontario safety certificate.
