Owner of this car owned an Automotive Machine Shop in Palestine, Texas and made sure the car was well maintained. After he stopped driving, the shop continued to maintain the car. The car was always garaged and kept clean. Owner passed in 1999 and his wife continued to drive the car locally until she became unable to drive. The car remained garaged. She led a blessed life and passed at age of 101. She loved the car even after she became unable to continue driving. Everyone in town recognized the Impala being driven by Ms. Daisy. People would tell her to be sure and let them know if she ever wanted to sell it.
The car runs, needs new tires, battery and the upholstery will need some work. Daughters inherited the car and the house and find it necessary to sell this family treasure.
