This 1998 Dodge Ram 2500 Sport is a super clean and really nice low
mileage 2nd Gen Dodge that has been well cared for. This is a rust
free truck that spent its life in the State of Washington. The body
on this Ram is straight and clean. The Bright White paint still
looks excellent and it appears to be all original with the
exception of the bumper which was repainted because of stone chips.
This is the Sport Model so the truck has color matched bumpers and
trim. The bed was lined when new and the underside is extra clean
as you would expect from a pacific NW truck. We found no rust
issues with this Dodge.
The interior is also in excellent condition. Really nice. Even
though this is a Sport it is a loaded truck and even has leather
seats that are still in excellent condition. The carpet, headliner,
door panels, dash, and dash bezel are all excellent. The
headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn signals are all
working. The gauges all work. This truck has tilt wheel and working
cruise control. It has working power windows and locks, power
mirrors, and power drivers seat. The factory radio works and the
horn and windshield wipers work. The heat and AC are also
working.
Mechanically this truck is top notch and it runs and drives
wonderful. It has the 8.0L V10 that is totally stock and it runs
strong with no issues or red flags that we found. The transmission
is the 47RE automatic that shifts great. It is mated to the np241D
transfer case and the 4WD works like it should. The rear axle is a
Dana 70 with 3.55 gears and a factory limited slip. The front axle
is a Dana 60 with 3.55 gears. This is all sitting on a nice set of
factory chrome rims with Toyo Open Country tires size
285/70/17.
