Factory Five Racing Cobra Mk4. A striking example of performance
engineering and vintage-inspired design, completed in 2022 and
registered as a 1965 vehicle under Texas regulations. The Shelby
Cobra features a fiberglass body mounted on a powder-coated frame,
finished in a metallic grey with a single light grey stripe applied
by Brent Customs of Lewisville, Texas. Chrome side pipes with
ceramic heat covers, fog lights, twin chrome roll bars, and black
wire mesh protecting the intake and brake ducts give the exterior
functional enhancements and a period-correct motorsport aesthetic.
The windshield is fitted with wind wings and side mirrors for added
practicality.Power is delivered by a Blueprint Engines Ford 306 CID
V8, dyno-rated at 375 horsepower and paired with Holley Sniper
electronic fuel injection. The drivetrain includes a five-speed
Tremec TKO 600 manual transmission with a hydraulic clutch, feeding
an independent rear suspension equipped with a 3.55 center section.
The suspension setup is complemented by 12.88-inch Wilwood power
disc brakes for confident stopping performance and rack-and-pinion
power steering for responsive control. Halibrand-style 17-inch
replica wheels with faux knock-off spinners are wrapped in Nitto
NT555 G2 radial tires, sized 245/45 up front and 315/35 in the
rear, ensuring a solid grip on the road.Inside, the cabin is
outfitted with black leather diamond-stitched seats and door
panels, creating a tailored, performance-oriented environment. The
interior is further insulated for heat and sound, covered in black
carpeting for a clean, finished appearance. Cockpit instrumentation
includes a vintage-style GPS gauge set featuring a 180-mph
speedometer, tachometer, oil pressure gauge, coolant temperature
gauge, fuel level gauge, voltage gauge, and a clock. A wood-rimmed
steering wheel adds to the period-correct charm, while leather door
check straps echo traditional roadster detailing. The vehicle is
also equipped with air conditioning for modern comfort in all
