Nissan released the Datsun 280Z to the North American market in 1975. It was part of the first-generation Z-car lineup and served as the successor to the 240Z and 260Z. The 280Z cemented the Z-car's reputation for offering sports car performance, everyday reliability and an affordable price. Today, it is valued as a vintage icon with a strong aftermarket following. This 1976 280Z coupe is in virtually original condition and it is outstanding. The exterior is nicely finished in Datsun Orange. It appears to be the original factory finish. The suspension is an independent MacPherson strut design with coil springs, telescopic dampeners and front sway bar.
