This Chevrolet was built to be both an incredible driver and an absolute show piece. It is a complete Pro Touring build with an original 1961 Corvette body. The body was painted with high quality base/clear paint and then water sanded and polished to a high gloss finish. The bumpers were rechromed and all the stainless trim is brand new! This Vette rides on a McBride custom chassis with a tubular center section designed to withstand 1000hp. The rear suspension is a triangulated four link. Up front the car has tubular control arms. Adjustable Aldin coils and shocks are on all four corners. The LS2 performance crate engine delivers 400 horsepower and has ceramic coated headers. Cooling the engine is an aluminium radiator custom built by Superior in Michigan. A 3000cfm electric fan moves the air through the radiator. The exhaust is stainless and ceramic coated front to back! C5 corvette mufflers and quad exhaust tips give an aggressive look and an excellent sound! The 4L60e transmission is a brand new performance built unit. This Corvette is comfortable on the road and handles like it is on rails! Inside, beautiful custom leather seats and door panels are fitted. A Dakota Digital Dash has been installed in the factory gauge cluster. A custom 4 speed automatic shifter sits neatly in the center console. This Corvette has power windows and good working Air Conditioning by Vintage Air. The steering wheel is a Billet Specialties mounted to an Ididit steering column. The stereo is an AM/FM Classic Autosound with bluetooth capability. USA 740 speakers are tastefully installed in the foot wells. The trunk is custom upholstered to match the interior. The convertible top is brand new. Stopping this Corvette is 4 wheel disc brakes with cross drilled and slotted rotors. The brakes are power assisted with a chrome brake booster and master cylinder. The car rides on new C5 ZR1 wheels. 18" rear wheels and 17" front. The tires are Achilles ZR rated performance tires, 275/40 rear and 245/45 front.
