Survivor Classic Car Services of Chicago is proud to present this
beautiful 1967 Pontiac Tempest convertible. This Regimental Red
dreamboat is PHS documented to be correct in almost every way! A
manual Ivory convertible top nestles cleanly below the black parade
cover. The black vinyl seats give some style to the Pontiac. The
Coker Classic redline tires really "pop" on the rally wheels, and
keep the black & red theme going.
Under the hood sits a strong-running 326 cubic inch Pontiac V8
engine. Though originally a 2bbl, this engine has been upgraded to
a factory-style 4-bbl intake and a 4bbl Edelbrock carburetor. Power
is sent through a 2-speed automatic transmission, and into a BOP
10-bolt rear axle housing. A set of chambered mufflers on the dual
exhaust system give this Tempest just enough rumble to be heard,
but wont cause your ears to ring on longer drives.
Lovingly given the name "Big Red," this Tempest has been with its
current owners for 20+ years. Big Red spent some time in Texas,
Virginia, and most recently Illinois. The underside is every bit as
clean as the top! Many memories have undoubtedly been made in this
beauty, and there are still mane more to make! This Tempest is beg
enough to fit the whole family, cool enough to get attention at
every gas station, and is the perfect "date night" cruiser.
