Created as an all-steel masterpiece, this 1940 Ford Tudor Sedan
Streetrod displays black paint with subtle deep blue metallic
undertones upon close inspection. Custom accent pinstriping adorns
the hood and trunk, while the stainless strips across the beltline
enhance its classic profile. A distinctive V-butt windshield gives
this Ford a unique character among its peers. The street rod stance
comes from the American Racing wheels-14-inch diameter up front and
15-inch in the rear-wrapped in Dunlop tires sized 195/70R14 for the
front and 235/75R15 for the back, creating a perfect balance of
vintage aesthetics and modern performance.
Recently completed in late '24, the saddle interior features custom
high-class vinyl upholstery with a texture remarkably similar to
leather. Auto Meter gauges provide all critical information at a
glance. The custom Banjo steering wheel sits atop a tilt column for
optimal driving position. Front seat belts add modern safety to the
vintage design. A floor-mounted center console with cupholders
offers convenient storage, while the hidden Bluetooth radio
operates directly from your phone. The air conditioning keeps
occupants cool during summer cruising.
Motivating this Ford is a Chevrolet 350 cubic inch V8 engine fed by
an Edelbrock carburetor and intake manifold. A TH350 3-speed
automatic transmission transfers power to the 9-inch rear end. The
front suspension utilizes tubular A-arms, adjustable coil-overs,
and a sway bar, while the rear employs a solid axle with leaf
springs and shocks. Four-wheel power disc brakes provide excellent
stopping ability. Dual exhaust with Hedman headers and MagnaFlow
mufflers completes the mechanical package, starting at the press of
a button located under the center of the rear bumper.
